What sets you apart from the other workout places on the island?
We may be small town but we think big city. We provide the most current fitness programming and great equipment and custom built space. We also provide the largest variety of class choices, the largest variety of instructors and the largest number of classes each week. Our facility is dedicated to providing clients with the best experience possible and our instructors are dedicated to making every client successful.
Do you have treadmills and a free weight room?
No, we are a classes ONLY facility. We do not have open gym or drop-in hours.
What if I want to talk to someone to get more information? What are the hours your facility is open?
We are only open when we have classes (mornings and evenings). If you need to reach us during a time when there are no classes in session and the building is closed, please email us at info@nantucketfitness.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Phones are only answered during the hours that we are staffed while classes are in session.
I’ve only taken classes on a traditional spinning bike. Will I be ok on your RealRyder Bikes?
YES!! The ability for our bikes to move is about providing feedback to the rider about their form. When your form is on point, our bikes are as steady as a traditional spinning bike. Also, most of our instructors have in the past or currently teach traditional spinning. Our class designs follow the safety guidelines of not only the RealRyder Program, but also the Spinning Program.
What kind of clips do your indoor bikes use?
One side of our pedal is SPD clip compatible and the other side has a shoe straps for regular workout sneakers.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, walk-in clients are more than welcome. We do strongly encourage advanced reservations. Once a class is full, walk-in clients may have to be turned away.
Can I make a reservation and then pay when I come to class?
No. All reservations MUST be paid for in advance. We have a great on-line scheduling system that will allow you to purchase classes and make and cancel all reservations. If you would prefer to pay cash or check in the studio, you will only be able to have a guaranteed reservation after payment has been accepted. Classes fill up quickly, so we strongly recommend signing up online ahead of time.
Can I share my Drop-In Card with my friends and family?
Yes, cards can be shared. If each person sharing the card has their own account (which we recommend), you will need to email the studio so we can link all accounts to the same Drop-In Card.
Do you accept walk-ins in your CrossFit classes?
Yes, but we ask that you email us ahead of time and let us know your CrossFit experience. Your experience and safety matter to us.
Do you offer student rates?
Yes. Please email the studio to inquire or purchase a Student Drop-In Card. Student Drop-In Cards may not be shared.
Do you have locker rooms?
No, we do not have either. However, we do have cubbies by our front desk area for storage and you may also bring your belongings into class with you.
Do you have showers?
No, but we do have gum and deodorant in the bathroom!!!!
Do you have babysitting?
Yes. Please Check under the classes tab for babysitting hours.
